A dream behind a dream

This is to relate a dream behind a dream that I had the other night. I can't actually remember the content of the "cover" dream any more, but the other morning, I started to recall a dream I'd had the previous night, when the memory of another dream behind that dream just blew the contents of the cover dream right out of my head. But first I need to digress a little.

For a long time, many months at least, I've been seeing light beige figures zipping or flitting around in my peripheral vision. These figures are a light beige or a very light tan, are about 4 feet tall and move very, very quickly...too quickly for me to focus on, and I can't see them with the center of my vision anyway, but only out of the corners of my eyes. Then, the other morning, I remembered this hidden "dream". In the hidden dream, I saw two figures. They had very large, somewhat peanut shaped heads, thin little necks, very small, narrow shoulders and skinny arms. They also had very large but completely human-looking eyes, although their eyes were also an extrememly bright blue, like blue light was shining within their eyes. The funny thing was that they were very surprized to see me, and I got to thinking that perhaps they didn't know that I am animate. Perhaps they zip around in the same space that I occupy, but for them, I am no more animate than a rock is to me. A rock inhabits the same enviroment that I do, but it never moves or changes...or at least it doesn't to my perception, and I wonder if because these creatures move so much faster than I do, that they can see me, but that I appear inanimate to them, like a rock does to me. Perhaps a burst of DMT allowed my consciousness to speed up to the rate they move at and get a look at them. I have to admit that I;ve been really curious about these flitting figures for months now. At any rate, it was an interesting experience for me, and I hope it was for them, too.

I'm glad you cross posted this dream here. I was hoping you would.

This blog entry is a little gem, very interesting to me.

I very much like the rock analogy:

This quote is very good, and explains well the effects of different vibrational levels. Do you mind if I create a new wiki page on this topic and quote you directly there?

Another interesting bit is your experience with peripheral vision. It is very common and many people describe similar things.

I think this phenomenon can be explained with what is called blind sight. Basically, you are obviously not seeing with your physical eyes (at the center of your vision), but with some form of Astral sight that registers somewhere else in your brain.

I don't have much time to elaborate. I have created a new issue to remind me to come back to it.
#49: blind sight and peripheral vision
See the links therein. I'll document this in the wiki a bit later.

DMT

You mention DMT several times. I don't know that this is.
